Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception

I began reading Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception by Maggie Stiefvater yesterday thinking that the fall of four leaf clovers on the front cover was appropriate for the holiday.  I wasn't able to put it down.  This book has a pleasant mix of compelling characters and shadowed mystery that kept me reading even when I should have turned the light off for bed (always a sure sign that I'm enjoying a book!).
I recommend Lament to fans of young adult, fantasy, and paranormal romance.

  1. E.J. thank you for letting us know of this book. I love to read and if it's one that you just can't put down..well..that's an added bonus.

  2. I am a huge Maggie Stiefvater fan! I read Shiver last month & am thrilled for Linger this summer! I have not read Lament & plan to get it soon.

She is a great writer & has a wonderful web presence...

  4. I have yet to read any of Maggie's books but everyone keeps saying that they're amazing! Especially Shiver. I really want to read one of her books but first I have to trim my TBR pile...

  5. I really want to read this one. I had placed in on reserve from the library but so far I have not gotten it. By the way I gave you a blog award.

  6. I can't wait to read Ballad and Shiver. :)

Thank you so much for the Beautiful Blogger Award! I'll post about it later tonight or tomorrow.
