Dublin Ireland 2016

I recently stopped in Dublin, Ireland as part of my 2016 book tour.  It had been 22 years since I'd last been in Ireland.  It is still as enchanting as ever.

These photos are from the book signing event.

Dublin is filled with amazing museums and libraries.  The Book of Kells and the Old Library at Trinity College were gorgeous, and the Chester Beatty Library was a museum of book treasures.  These places were a book lover's paradise!

I also had the pleasure of viewing the exhibits at Dublin Castle.

I enjoyed the National Museum of Ireland's Archaeology Museum so much, I visited multiple times during my stay in Dublin.

I love Gothic architecture, and spent an afternoon visiting Christ Church Cathedral and its crypt with cover model Ratimir Grobnicki and his lovely girlfriend.  We grabbed a pint at Darkey Kelly pub, named for a woman who was burned for witchcraft and later discovered to be Ireland's first serial killer, and did a bit of comic book shopping.  So much fun!

I made it outside the city a few times, and loved Malahide Castle and grounds.
